Le Broy has been recognised as a LPO refuge ( Association for the protection of birds) for about 20 years.
In the heart of the Landes forest it shelters a remarkable array of environments.
Ornithologists have countered more than a hundred of birds species.
The nesting has been encouraged by the diverse artificial nests to be found in the park trees.
You can also enjoy animal spotting from a dedicated watching post in the forest.
This blessed post is located on a main migratory route, wich is also a first class atch themwintering for wood pgeons, woodcocks and common cranes.
You will be able to watch them by the hundreds of their feeding spot a few minutes away from the gite.
